While the last release of F!NCH (Tranquility [sfrqnz016]) was more progressively devoted to the rising sun, the focus of "Take My Tears Away" is on a reduced, melancholically beautiful sound with self-recorded samples and a pleasant mixture of minimal, micro and deephouse elements. The Heart & Soul Remix by Oliver Martini impresses with its organic soulful drive and fine details. DELP only stays true to its line to a limited extent and gives its Pillow Remix its very own charm to lead the title into the ambient chillout universe. *melancholy and beautiful without being sad* <3
